Not for nothing, the year I was born, in much of the country, I wouldn’t have been allowed to marry my wife.
Because, you know, babies can’t get married.
But, even if babies could marry, they were certainly not allowed to marry the as-of-yet unborn person, the purely future person, the still potential idea of a person…of another race.
I’d have had to wait a year.
We waited considerably longer.
But it all worked out.
